The Skyfallen is an initiative, supported by the for-profit The Skyfallen Company's nonprofit efforts, Skyfallen Foundation.
Skyfallen's mission is to provide technology and programming content, as well as an independent voice for everyone for free. Without any financial interest, Skyfallen creates and publishes content for the greater good of humanity. The Skyfallen Company does not make any income or revenue from the content created or the brand "The Skyfallen" in any way.
All operating costs are covered by The Skyfallen Company's profits. A percentage of its annual revenue is dedicated to running the Skyfallen Foundation as per its memorandum, signed by all of its shareholders. Together with KüçükRobotçuk, Skyfallen Plus and Skyfallen Open Source, The Skyfallen marks Skyfallen Foundation's commitment to a better tomorrow.

The Skyfallen regularly recruits volunteers from all over the world to contribute with their work. Anyone can volunteer and applications open every year around June. To this day, more than 200 volunteers applied and more than 15 contributed to The Skyfallen at some point.
