EDIT: 12.10 UTC
I personally was looking for tutorials on Google and when I looked up at the video results, firstly I thought the video were broken and the links were outdated bu then I noticed I could not access the home page either.
What’s the second thing to blame, well after checking the modem, using a VPN, different browser and mobile data we’re still not able to access YouTube.
Guess what, even downdetector is not fast enough to notice it either! Next step was of course Twitter. I first could not find anything suspicious. Then an new hashtag popped up #YouTubeDOWN.

Also #GoogleDOWN is worth checking for extra precaution if you are expecting to make research for your latest article.
EDIT: 12:22 UTC
Google Classroom seems to be broken as well.
EDIT: 12:24 UTC
Google Meet seems to be broken also.
Googling “is Google Down” yields this funny result

Official Response from Google
Google has now officially responded and acknowledged the issue.
Today, at 3.47AM PT Google experienced an authentication system outage for approximately 45 minutes due to an internal storage quota issue. Services requiring users to log in experienced high error rates during this period. The authentication system issue was resolved at 4:32AM PT. All services are now restored. We apologize to everyone affected, and we will conduct a thorough follow up review to ensure this problem cannot recur in the future.
